Achina, you’ve touched on such an important topic here, but I think you need to include just one more word of advice: to be flexible with the first job. We have been looking for a graphic designer (fresher) for 3+ months now. We are ready to teach and make them grow, all that is needed is the right attitude. But the freshers are so picky with everything including work from office despite not having jobs for many years, wonder how that happens! It’s strange that people say job market is lull while companies do not get good fresher talent for 3+ months!

This is literally the first video I saw in this channel and am already subscribed! Kudos. As a counter-part, I live in Costa Rica now, directly emigrated from India for work. I know a lot of people in US who are facing the cons you mentioned in the video. But yeah, as you mentioned, we Indians can survive anywhere when we put our minds to it! I feel Latin America is a bit underrated as there are lot of progress being shadowed away from the media. Anyway, Keep rocking guys!

Indian Parents I'd say are rather egoistic in their thinking. I have noticed in my case that they have the it's either my way or the high way mindset especially when we children are dependent upon them and they simply do not want to understand our thinking and opinions. The one point you raised was correct, that being a child wants to move away in order to unravel oneself and that hit me spot on. Unfortunately none of my elders acknowledge my thoughts and if I provide backings to the subject matter, they say ki tumhe iitna hi pata hai to fir sab khud hi kar lo, kyu humare paas aate ho, and that's rather disappointing.

People who think they can make 250k or more in 3-4 years and that they will have a much better work life balance than India are in for a rude shock. That is after they get shocked by rent prices and cost of owning a home. I would say people who want to stay should be ready to work their azz off for the first 5-7 years and then forget about ever getting a GC and always live under a shadow of H1b job loss which gives them 30 days to find another job or go home.

This is case for every company operating offshore in India. Let me tell you the onshore people exploit the Indians like anything, leveraging Indians for even the smallest of things and they are the one leeching out most of the money from profits and their people complain that Indians are taking their jobs. Most of the MNCs have become so toxic these days. They think they are doing some kind of favour on us poor indians but let me tell you our generation might not even live that long to see a bright future at the rate they are making indians work. And yet indian government is having a blindfold on with no proper laws since for them they are getting the most profits from taxpayers so its better to let these companies suck on our bl00d because tax is everything

I was in college and I failed in my second year. I was lost, frustrated and didn't know what to do. I found some interesting videos on UA-cam about Photoshop, I learned graphic designing from multiple sources (all of them were FREE). One day I saw an ad of hiring designers. I applied for it, gave the interview and they liked my work and hired me. Now I'm a senior graphic designer there.✌️

Been living in US for about 12 years now. It was much better back then. Now has gotten worse. Agree to half of the points but rest of the conclusion are just made based on one location or two. That does not constitute US in general. Midwest is way more safer, reasonable than SF area that is mentioned. And safety issues are way way more worse in India also… it’s the same

These people are making wild amounts of money and are pushing the notion that you shouldn't come so they can have more of the pie. Don't trust them. Just go ahead and chase that American Dream. Go for it-America is still the promised land. Some people say you only need to go to the US for saving money, escaping family, and escaping society. Even though rich kids don't have these problems, they still go. Why? Just imagine roads with no potholes, top-notch service, cleanliness all around, and a booming economy. It’s the life you want; it’s the end game. Don’t believe anything they say. This is how they get you to settle while they rake in millions. Don’t fall for this trap. All my rich friends who lived in the US told me not to move and said it wasn't worth it. But when I took the step, it was the best decision I've ever made. Make the move, travel safe, do well, and be happy.

I particularly liked the last part of your presentation wherein you talk about your goal of creating opportunities in Bharat, for young folks so that they don’t have to go abroad to realise their dreams. Although I highly recommend that if a person gets an opportunity to go, seize it. The experience is worth it. Things are changing fast and it won’t be long when Bharat will be the go to place. After almost thirty years in America I returned to Bharat and I am soooo happy. America has been berry, berry good to me. I visit my kids all born and raised in the US. Summers are wonderful and there are lot of outdoor events. You post wonderful videos. You are so talented. Look forward to many more posts.
